These confluence of factors make arturo alvarez a well known brand, present in more than 50 countries, in the last few years our work has been recognized with important design awards.
Handmade
We revalue the ancient manual techniques, looking back to the origins of the human being in order to create a new language with innovative materials. We want to thrill with handmade pieces, made by skilled and experienced Spanish hands; we also want to create harmony and balance in the spaces to achieve a better comfort and wellness.
We create, "tailor made lamps" using different materials and lots of finishes to fulfill every request, public or private.
Because of the exclusiveness all our lamps are numbered and labeled or engraved with our brand to guarantee the authenticity.
Line of business
arturo alvarez’s product line: The designer Arturo Alvarez, Creative Director of the company introduces a new concept in lighting by reinventing ancient techniques and giving different uses to everyday materials. He is the architect of our own style working constantly in order to provide innovative and useful, every time more conscious with the environment and energy saving policies solutions.
arturo alvarez’s LAB line: As the result of the continuous pursuit of innovation and experimentation Lab arturo alvarez, was created in 2008. A laboratory for new ideas, created to give room to the sensibilities and vision of other designers and also to Arturo Alvarez himself about how it should be today`s decorative lighting.
Corporate Social Responsibility
arturo alvarez is actively involved with the emotional, sensitive and human side in every field of its activities both in the company and in the society.
We put in practice and are committed with equality.
Our staff is formed by 45% of men and 55% of women.
We integrate disabled people in our staff.
We also collaborate with the Spanish NGO, AYUDA EN ACCIÓN, dedicated to help childhood.
We are ecologically responsible with the planet and the environment. We use, re-use and recycle materials and firmly support energy saving policies.
We collaborate with the NGO ACCIÓNATURA and will contribute with the 0.7% of the total sales of the UXI and SHIO collections for the reforestation of the Atlantic forest in Brazil.
