Carrís Hotel Casa de la Troya opens in Santiago de Compostela

Carrís Hotels, has restored an emblematic building from the XVII century in Santiago de Compostela that used to be the horse stables of the famous Casa da Troia. A charming hotel with a well cared restoration, where elegance, comfort and the possibility to enjoy unique author pieces are its signs of identity.

The House of Troya (Casa da Troia), that is next door the hotel, nowadays is a museum. It used to be an antique student hostel in the late XIX century, in which the writer Pérez Lugín was inspired to write his famous novel “La Casa de la Troya”, published on 1915.

arturo alvarez has collaborated to enhance some of this hotel areas, with emblematic pieces like Gea at the reception and at the cafeteria the Coral Collection.
