ARTURO ÁLVAREZ AMONG THE #INFLUENCERS17 OF SPANISH T MAGAZINE

T Spain, the Spanish edition of the prestigious magazine The New York Times Style Magazine, has included Arturo Álvarez in their selection of #Influyentes17 (#Influencers17), which highlights the people who has stood out in the world of interior design, architecture and lifestyle in 2017.

Arturo Álvarez is surrounded on the list by prominent figures such as the Ghanaian architect David Adjave, named by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential persons of 2017; the designers Michael Anastassiades, Patricia Urquiola and Tomás Alonso; the senior curator of Architecture and Design of the MoMA, Paola Antonelli; the fashion brand Helmut Lang; the businessman Elon Musk or the architecture firm RCR Arquitectes.

That is what T Spain says about him: “He founded his namesake company in 1994. Since then, his lighting designs have stood out and the firm has experimented a fast internationalization. This year, the presentation of his humanoid lights Agora, Conversas and Encontros at the Salone del Mobile de Milano in Milan has caused great enthusiasm among the public and the critics, being one of the most commented presentations in specialized media (Dezeen says) and social media”.
